STEEL ABRASIVES
Steel Shot is manufactured from scrap steel through a well controlled
casting process. Various additives are added to ensure a consistent quility
product. Steel Grit is produced through crushing of steel shot and is
subsequently heat treated-tempered to threee different hardness to cater
for various applications.
APPLICATIONS
Steel Shot and Grit are used for preparing surfaces.
cleaning the toughest forging, etching mill rolls, brightening finishes,
shot peening aircraft parts to increase fatigue strength, reduce wear
and friction and to relieve stress and special surface finishes. The grits
are also designed for grantie cutting.

ALUMINUM OXIDE
Al2O3 have the characteristics of high hardness (second hardest
mineral after diamond), sharpness, tenacity, stable chermical
property, heat resisting and corrosion resisting. This sharp
angular abrasive is fast cutting and does not contain free silica.
It gives a matt finish, or produces anchor patterns on most
metal surfaces and can be used economically in a closed system
blasting machine.
APPLICATIONS
The range of application is limitless for blasting, lapping
, polishing, etc.... - the removal of sand from casting or
surface preparation prior enamelling, teflon coating: plating
or bonding: etching: descaling: deburring: cleaning modules:
glass carvings and decorative works in glass industry. |

GLASS BEAD
Glass bead is a unique and popular air blasting abrasive for
cleaning and conditioning surfaces. It is manufactured from
high-grade glass, annealed in its spherical shape to equalize
internal stresses and resist fracture. In addition, the inherent
strength of glass bead is such that it can survive multiple
impacts, allowing for economies of continuous recycling.
APPLICATIONS
Its applications include clening modules, glass carvings and
decorative works in glass industry, removing rust and corrosion
without disturbing the base material, blasting for clening
and conditioning surfaces without changing their dimensional
tolerances or contaminating them. |
